Tottenham recorded a 2-2 away draw against Liverpool on Sunday and there were plenty of talking points after the game.

Spurs earned a point at Anfield in the Premier League which leaves Mauricio Pochettino’s side a point adrift of the top four.

Mohamed Salah opened the scoring for the hosts after just three minutes when he capitalised on a poor back-pass by Eric Dier.

The game then came into life in the final 10 minutes as substitute Victor Wanyama fired in a thunderous long-range shot to equaliser for the visitors.

Harry Kane then had the chance to put the north London club in front from the penalty spot, but his effort was kept out by goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.

Salah then produced a brilliant individual goal as he weaved into the penalty area before a chipped finish in injury time.

However, there was even further drama as Kane this time did score from the spot in the 95th minute after Virgil van Dijk had fouled Erik Lamela in the penalty area.

Spurs remain in the hunt for the Champions League places after a hard-fought point and face Newport County on Wednesday in their next match.

This Is Futbol has picked out three major talking points regarding Spurs following the Liverpool draw, which includes why their defensive enforcer should be axed.
