Tottenham Hotspur travel across London to face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday in the Premier League, and Mauricio Pochettino is expected to make nine changes from the side that drew 2-2 with Rochdale in the FA Cup.

Spurs looked on course to progress to the quarter-finals at Spotland last weekend before a last-gasp equaliser from Steve Davies secured a Wembley replay for the League One minnows.

That draw had come after Spurs had launched a stirring comeback to draw 2-2 with Juventus in the Champions League in midweek.

After going two goals down within nine minutes, goals from Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen secured a vital away result for Spurs ahead of the second leg on the 7th of March.

Attention now returns to the Premier League, with Spurs currently lying in fifth place, one behind Chelsea and two behind Liverpool in an ever-tightening race for the top four.

Spurs’ last result in the league was a good one indeed, coming through a north London derby against Arsenal with a 1-0 win that consigned their rivals to a massive deficit in the race for Champions League qualification.

Crystal Palace are coming in off the back of a 3-1 loss to Everton which left them in 15th place in the fight against relegation, just one point above the drop zone.
