Liverpool travel to Portugal on Wednesday to take on FC Porto in the last-16 of the Champions League, and Jurgen Klopp is expected to stick with the majority of the side that comfortably beat Southampton at the weekend. 

The Reds followed up a disappointing 2-2 draw against Tottenham with an easy 2-0 win over the Saints at the weekend, with Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino getting on the scoresheet.

Firmino opened the scoring after just six minutes when he slotted home after some nice build-up, before turning provider for Salah to double their lead just before half-time, with a sublime backheel finding the Egyptian, who made no mistake with the finish.

That result put the Reds back into third in the Premier League, and they now lie just two points behind rivals Manchester United after they lost 1-0 to Newcastle.

Liverpool come into the knockout stages after finishing top of Group E, with 12 points from their 6 matches, while opponents Porto were second in Group G, with 10 points from their group games.

Porto are coming in off a three-game winning run in all competitions, and they currently hold two-point advantage at the top of the Primeira Liga.
