Aaron Cresswell completed 90 minutes in the draw against Bournemouth on Boxing Day – and the West Ham fans on Twitter destroyed him for his performance.
The 28-year-old featured as the Hammers recorded a 3-3 away draw against the Cherries in the Premier League clash.
James Collins put the visitors in front after just seven minutes, but Bournemouth drew level through midfielder Ryan Gosling in the first-half.
Eddie Howe’s side then scored through Nathan Ake in the second period to take the lead, before a brace from in-form Marko Arnauotivc swung the contest once again.
However, there was one final twist in the tale as Callum Wilson rescued a point for the hosts in a frantic clash between two relegation candidates, but there was some controversy as he appeared to handle the ball in and be in an offside position.
West Ham fans on social media singled out English defender Cresswell for his display at Dean Court and feel that he really struggled to deal with the opposition.

I will say it again and again and again……Aarron Cresswell is completely useless as a defender and puts in one good cross in fifty

Cresswell dreadful hesitant defending yet again. Leads to a needless free kick. Booking. Corner. Bang. Goal. 2-1 down

Cresswell has been switched into a centre-back role recently under David Moyes as part of a back three, despite being a left-back by trade.
He has played in a more central position and teammate Arthur Masuaku has got the nod in the left-wing back role.
West Ham did manage to bounce back from their 3-2 defeat against Newcastle on Saturday by avoiding defeat against Bournemouth.
The result means they are 17th in the league standings after 20 games and just a point above the drop zone.
