Newcastle’s added finances could see them try to pick up players from their direct league rivals and Southampton forward Charlie Austin would be a great target.

Paul Merson suggested on Gillette Soccer Saturday (9 December, 2017) that the 28-year-old would be a great option for the Magpies.??Benitez needs someone who can score on a regular basis if given the chance, something that Joselu and Gayle can’t be relied upon to do.
