Tottenham Hotspur legend Ossie Ardiles has claimed Spurs should have no problem against Stoke on Saturday if they play their game.
Spurs welcome the Potters to Wembley on Saturday afternoon looking for their first win in five, having last won against Crystal Palace on the 5th of November.
Stoke are coming off a first win in five games, overcoming Swansea 2-1 at the Bet365 Stadium last weekend, with goals from Xherdan Shaqiri and Mame Biram Diouf securing the three points.
Losses to Arsenal and Leicester, alongside draws with West Bromwich Albion and Watford have seen Spurs slide out of the Champions League places into sixth.
Tottenham have already dropped as many points at home this season than they did in the whole of last year, with their move to Wembley not going as planned.

OPINION
Stoke is always a tough game, as Ardiles says, and Spurs will have to work hard to secure their first league win in a month. Mark Hughes’ side will be buoyed by their win last week against Swansea, and will be well aware of Spurs’ struggles at Wembley this year. Spurs fans will be hoping that they can play their game and if that does happen then Ardiles is probably right. This Tottenham side have a lot of attacking firepower, they just need to find their ammunition once again.
