Celtic fans were less than thrilled with Scott Sinclair’s performance in the side’s 0-0 draw with Rangers on Saturday.

The midfielder was subbed in the 71st minute and replaced with Olivier Ntcham after failing to impress Brendan Rodgers.

Sinclair had a few opportunities to put the Hoops in front throughout the game, but was unable to get on the score sheet.

It wasn’t just Sinclair’s lack of ability to score on Saturday that had fans raging, with some disappointed over his general contribution.

One fan said that the midfielder might as well be sat in the stands, with another going as far to say Sinclair’s presence was hurting the team.

The 28-year-old has been a regular for the Bhoys this season, scoring 15 goals in 33 appearances across all competitions.

Sinclair has scored eight of those goals in the Scottish Premier League to help Celtic sit top.

Ahead of the old firm derby, the Bhoys sat eight points clear of second place Aberdeen and 11 points clear of third placed Rangers.

Despite being comfortable at the top, fans were not going to let Sinclair off for his performance that only saw Celtic achieve a draw with their bitter rivals.
