Tottenham suffered a defeat away to Leicester on Tuesday night in the Premier League – and the club’s supporters on Twitter were furious with the display of Moussa Sissoko.
The 28-year-old midfielder started the match in the centre of the park and was withdrawn after just 57 minutes.
Spurs were stunned by a clinical Leicester that were two goals up at half-time, with Jamie Vardy scoring a delightful chip to put the hosts in the driving seat.
Riyad Mahrez then doubled their advantage with a wicked left-footed effort that curled past Hugo Lloris in goal.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side pulled one back through Harry Kane as he latched on to a pass from the returning Erik Lamela, but it was not enough to salvage a point.
Spurs fans on social media highlighted the performance of Frenchman Sissoko and slaughtered him for his efforts.
The central midfielder spurned a good opportunity in the first-half to score and was also guilty of being sloppy in possession.

Sissoko has on the whole enjoyed a much better second season so far with Spurs, but the Leicester clash was a throwback to his form last year.
He was beginning to get the club’s supporters on side after showing promise this season, but Tuesday night may feel like a backward step for him.
The midfielder will now face great competition to keep his starting XI position as the likes of Heung-Min Son and Erik Lamela push for a key role.
