Italian giants Juventus are one of four European heavyweights interested in unsettled Tottenham defender Danny Rose, according to the Sun.

The newspaper claims in its print edition (Page 62, 12 November) that Juventus, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United have been alerted to the 27-year-old situation.

It is understood that the England international could be tempted by a move abroad and that has grabbed the attention of Champions League regulars Juventus, Madrid and PSG.

The report details that the left-back has a a strong relationship with Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino now, despite his interview criticising the club’s wage structure in the summer.

Rose has previously expressed his desire to move back north, which is why Premier League giants Manchester United are the fourth team also keen on signing the Spurs ace.

Good move for Spurs?

Spurs’ attack-minded full-back Rose is grabbing a lot of attention and it may be worth the North London club cashing in while they can.

The left-back is still highly regarded despite only just returning from a serious knee injury which has kept him out since January.

He was arguably the best defender in the Premier League before his injury setback, but in his absence his understudy Ben Davies has really excelled.

Rose’s controversial interview has not been forgotten by some Spurs fans and it may be worth letting him leave, but a possible swap deal with one of Europe’s top clubs could be a smart move.

Likely to happen?

Rose has managed to get back into Pochettino’s good books and is set to play an important role for Spurs this campaign, but his future beyond that is still unclear.

He will be desperate to be in the 2018 World Cup squad for England so remaining where he is until then makes sense.

However, it would be no shock to see Rose moved on next summer for big money, something that similarly happened with Kyle Walker with his move to Manchester City.
