Three things learned about Rangers in win v Aberdeen

|

Windass must start up front

Rangers

Windass played as a striker against the Dons and put in a decent night’s work leading the Gers attack.

The former Accrington star has regularly said his best position is in attack and after the win against McInnes’ side, it is worth giving him a run of games there.

The underpeforming player been tried in central midfield and as a winger and been pretty poor in both – and this could just be one of the rare nights where Windass has a good game – but he can’t be any worse than he has been elsewhere.

Windass’ cross found James Tavernier as the right-back scored his second goal of the game to make it 3-0.

Windass’ recent run of goals has probably helped and maybe a run of starts in attack could help keep that going.
