Spanish club Valencia are interested in taking Everton attacker Sandro Ramirez on loan in the January transfer window, according to the Daily Mail.

The newspaper claims that the La Liga side are planning to take the 22-year-old on an initial loan deal when the window re-opens in the New Year.

It is understood that the Spaniard could be given more of a chance to prove himself under Sam Allardyce beforehand at Goodison Park after a poor start to his Toffees career.

Sandro only arrived at the Merseyside club in the summer and was expected to hit the ground running following his £5.2million move from Malaga, but has found it difficult to force his way into the side.

Good move for Everton?

Everton clearly have a lack of attacking threats in their squad and Sandro is one of several players who are just missing a bit of quality.

However, the Toffees definitely should not loan out the youngster in January and he has the potential to be an important first-team player in the second half of the season.

The centre-forward opened his Everton account with a well taken finish in the Europa League recently and there is potential for Allardyce to work with.

He deserves more time to settle to the Premier League and this is a player that scored 16 goals in 31 games for Malaga last season.

Likely to happen?

Sandro’s future is set to be decided during the opening weeks of his time under Allardyce and at this point it is impossible to tell whether an exit could be on the cards.

Valencia’s interest in the striker appears genuine and they will know he can be successful in the Spanish league given the form he showed at Malaga.

His pace and potential may be the factors that just sway it in favour of him remaining at Everton at least until the end of the season.
