Rangers stumbled to their second consecutive defeat in six days with a 2-1 loss to Dundee in the Scottish Premiership at Dens Park on Friday night.

Neil McCann’s side hadn’t won in 56 days before Rangers came to town but never really looked like losing against the Ibrox side.

The Gers had much of the first-half play but couldn’t break the deadlock against a dogged Dundee defence.

The Dees then took a second-half lead through Mark O’Hara before Josh Windass leveled the scores just a few minutes later.

Dundee fired themselves back in front through O’Hara again as Rangers wilted under the pressure ahead of a double-header against Aberdeen next week.

The result could mean the Gers are six points off Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership when the sides meet on Wednesday and could be a whopping 12 points off second place in the Scottish Premiership by the time they have completed their back-to-back fixtures with the Dons.

This Is Futbol looks at three things we learned from Rangers loss at Dundee, including how a senior player has outstayed his welcome and must be sold in the January transfer window.
