Graham Roberts has raved about Tottenham defender Davinson Sanchez after his performance against Borussia Dortmund and claimed he is the best young centre-back to ever move to the Premier League.
The 21-year-old helped Spurs win away against Dortmund on Tuesday night and he has already become a mainstay in the starting XI.
Mauricio Pocehttino’s side secured top spot in their Champions League group with a 2-1 victory in Germany and continued their impressive European campaign.
Sanchez has become an integral part of the Spurs three-man defence and is already repaying the club-record £42million fee spent on him in the summer.
The Colombia international had another storming display against Dortmund and has slotted in seamlessly to the team.
Roberts has made the huge claim he is the best young centre-back to arrive in English football and continues to be blown away by his performances.
“What more can I keep saying about Davinson Sanchez for his age best centre half I have seen come to the UK simply sensational,” Roberts wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Spurs already had the best defence in England before this season, but the signing of Sanchez has taken them up another level. The powerful centre-back is brilliant in the air, has rapid speed and is also tactically sound. He already looks an accomplished defender at the age of 21 and there is no reason he can’t go right to the top under Pocehttino’s guidance. Sanchez has the benefit of having senior players such as Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen alongside him, who can help nurture his development. He is slowly becoming a fan favourite with the Spurs faithful and it won’t be long before he starts getting the same recognition across the Premier League.
