Three things learned about Leeds after defeat to Derby

|

Alioski is a major worry

The signing of Ezgjan Alioski was widely hailed as a major coup when he was prised from the Swiss league in the summer. The 25-year-old looked a lively presence on the right flank in his first month and fans were hopeful that they finally had a flank player who could consistently create and score goals. But Alioski has failed to build upon an encouraging start. His statistics are unimpressive, even Hadi Sacko-esque, with 13 league starts yielding just a single goal and two assists. He was unlucky not to win a penalty for his side, but that could be down to his growing reputation as a player who goes down too easily. Alioski puts in a good shift but it is difficult to see how he keeps making the starting XI. He must pull his finger out and start to deliver.
