Tottenham fans took to Twitter to criticise Christian Eriksen for his performance in their Champions League win against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side came from a goal down to secure another memorable European triumph that secured their progress into the knockout stages as group winners, a monumental achievement in such a difficult group.
Pierre Emerick Aubemeyang had put Dortmund in front at the Westfalenstadion, but a goal from Harry Kane shortly after the break levelled the scores before Heung-Min Son curled a shot into the top corner to turn the match on its head and secure the three points for Spurs.
There were many excellent performances from Pochettino’s side, which featured four changes to the starting XI after Saturday’s defeat at Arsenal.
But Spurs fans were unhappy with the performance of playmaker Eriksen, who played 85 minutes of the match before he was replaced by Moussa Sissoko, and took to social media en masse to voice their disappointment.

Aurier, Davinson Sanchez and Winks was brilliant today. Dele Alli gets unfair amount of stick, he was good today and assisted both of our goals. Rose, Dier, Vertonghen and Kane was good too. Eriksen a bit disappointing and Son got the goal but missed a few chances
