Tottenham are considering a January move for Leicester attacker Demarai Gray, according to the Sun.

The newspaper claims that Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is set for talks with chairman Daniel Levy and chief scouts Steve Hitchen to discuss potential January targets.

It is understood that Foxes winger Gray is high on their wish list, while Everton midfielder Ross Barkley is also being considered.

The North London club were linked Leicester’s 21-year-old in the summer and are now plotting a return move when the transfer window re-opens.

Gray is renowned for being an attacker with lightning speed and is an important part of the England Under-21s side.

Good move four Spurs?

Gray may not be the finished article yet, but he would certainly be an exciting signing for Spurs.

The youngster is currently struggling to cement a regular position in the starting XI at Leicester, but it’s clear how much potential he has.

Mauricio Pochettino has shown he is an expert at promoting young English talents and he could bring the best out of Gray.

The Leicester attacker usually plays as a left-winger and would add an injection of pace that is perhaps missing from the current Spurs squad.

Likely to happen?

Spurs have been interested in Gray before and it would make sense that they try to bring him to the North London club in January.

He has let his frustration known about a lack of game-time at Leicester as he seeks to impress, but would face even tougher competition in the Spurs squad.

However, the Foxes will be reluctant to lose one of their rising stars and it could cost a large sum to prize him away from the King Power Stadium.
