Tottenham have agreed personal terms with Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha, according to Harry Hotspur.

The website claims that Spurs have agreed terms with the 24-year-old, who is renowned for having blistering pace and being a real threat in front of goal.

It is understood that Palace have refused to sell the highly rated winger in recent seasons due to a disagreement over his price, but Spurs have managed to reach a deal.

The report details that chairman Daniel Levy wants to secure a move in the January transfer window for the Ivory Coast international and that the player is “itching” to join the North London club.

Good move for Spurs?

Zaha would be superb addition to the Spurs squad and would add the extra dimension of genuine pace out wide.

The winger is the key man in the Palace squad and has scored two goals in just four games so far this season.

He looks like he is ready for a move to a big team and there would certainly be a possibility of him pushing for a starting XI spot in the Spurs side.

Mauricio Pochettino has been credited as being a big fan of the skilful winger in the past and he could be the perfect manager to get the best out of him.

Likely to happen?

This deal looks fairly close to completion if reports are to be believed that Zaha has agreed personal terms over a Spurs to move.

Palace have also reportedly buckled in the sale of their star man and it seems inevitable that they were going to lose him the near future.

However, Levy may find it difficult to secure the Zaha transfer mid-way through the season as Palace will not want to lose their talisman during a serious relegation battle.

It would be no surprise to see the lightning attacker move to Spurs next summer and remain with his current club until the end of the season.
