Real Madrid are willing to offer up to three first teamers as makeweights in a deal to sign Tottenham ace Harry Kane, according to Diario Gol.

The Spanish outlet claim that the La Liga giants are desperate to sign the 24-year-old and realise he will not leave Spurs for less than £179m.

It is understood that Madrid president Florentino Perez has recognised Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to be a touch negotiator and has come up with a strategy he feels can land the centre-forward by twisting his arm.

The report details that Madrid star names Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Luka Modric are all being considered as makeweights as they look to pull off a stunning deal.

Zinedine Zidane’s side could offer Bale and Benzema in an initial deal to try land Kane, while the possibility of including Modric too has not been ruled out.

Former Spurs pair Bale and Modric could be offer a sensational route back to the Premier League where they made a name for themselves.

Good move for Spurs?

Spurs need to keep Kane at all costs for the foreseeable future despite the crazy swap deal being mentioned.

The striker has scored 11 goals in nine games so far this season and should be considered one of the best in the business right now.

He has endeared himself to the Spurs fans after graduating from their academy and could go on to break all kinds of goalscoring records if he stays.

The three potential Madrid stars that could be included in a deal would all be fantastic additions, but sacrificing talisman would be to huge a loss.

Likely to happen?

The notion that Madrid could include three superstars in a swap deal for Kane seems too far fetched and very unlikely to happen.

However, the Spanish giants could look to include one of those star names mentioned and former Spurs winger Bale would be the best at reducing the £177m price tag.

Levy is unlikely to buckle under the pressure of selling his star man this round despite recent history as manager Mauricio Pochettino will be desperate to keep the forward at all costs.
