Harry Kane will never leave Tottenham at any point in his career, according to broadcaster Jim White.
The Sky Sports and talkSPORT anchorman, who is renowned for his top-level football contacts, made the sensational claim on his talkSPORT show on Wednesday morning.
Kane has blasted 13 goals for club and country in September after his usual blank in August and will lead the line for England against Slovenia at Wembley on Thursday looking to continue his stunning goal run in October.
The 24-year-old has been receiving praise from all angles this season because of his brilliant and consistent finishing, and reports have stated that the world’s most glamorous clubs are lining up £100million-plus bids for him.
Reports in Spain this week have claimed that Real Madrid are prepared to pay up to £177million for Kane.
However, White says that Tottenham are not prepared to even accept a fee that matches the world-record Neymar price.
“It’s my understanding that it will not be entertained at any time. He is never going to be leaving,” White said on talkSPORT.

White is a well-connected football journalist and broadcaster, and his claim about the Tottenham talisman is a huge one, given that he is still only 24 and conceivably could be at the top of his profession for the next 10 years. Question marks about Kane’s pedigree and world-class status have been ruled virtually obsolete by a player in the form of his life, which is saying something for the winner of the Premier League golden boot in the past two seasons. But Harry has not yet entered his peak years, and many feel that his brilliance should be rewarded at a team capable of winning the Premier League and Champions League every year, with Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona frequently named as clubs able to offer greater trophy-winning potential. Ambitious Tottenham will rightly claim they are that team, given they have finished way above United to claim consecutive third and second placed league finishes in 2015-16 and 2016-17, and already look like they will be in the title mix again this season. For good measure, they have also started to make an impression in Europe’s premier competition. It is ignoring significant evidence to claim that Kane would be better off at Old Trafford, the Bernabeu or Camp Nou. That is not to say the big guns will not take extensive measures to seduce Spurs academy product Kane. It would be a staggering achievement if he can build a dynasty at Tottenham, as Lionel Messi has at Barcelona.
