Tony Gale has made the astonishing claim that Tottenham’s Harry Kane is worth more than Neymar.
The 24-year-old has been in sensational form for Spurs already this season and netted 11 goals in nine matches.
Spanish outlet Don Balon report that Real Madrid are lining up a mega swoop for Kane next summer and that they are not deterred by his £177million price tag.
Sky pundit Gale has stated that the England international is worth even more than Brazilian star Neymar.

The 25-year-old is considered to be one of the best in world football and has already netted eight goals plus seven assists in his first eight appearances for French side PSG.
Gale has remarkably stated that Kane is worth more than Neymar and that Spurs must ensure they keep their talisman despite interest from Madrid.
“The temptation is that if they sell him, that will pay for the new stadium,” Gale said, as quoted by Sky Sports. “But you want the best players to play in the new stadium and he’s one of the best strikers in the world at the moment.
“They’d be mad to sell him, you’ve got to build everything around him and give him what Real Madrid would pay him. I think he’s worth more than Neymar. Harry’s got goals in him and goals are the thing.”

Kane is certainly developing into one of the best centre-forward in world football and should be considered the best in the Premier League right now. However, stating that he is worth more than the world’s most expensive ever player Neymar is a phenomenal claim. Kane still needs to add silverware and consistent performances on the European stage to reach the top bracket of players that Neymar is classed in. The North London club could manage to sell Kane for an astronomical fee if Madrid do come calling next summer, but he is certainly not yet at a level where he should be considered more valuable by the PSG star.
