Chelsea threw away two points at Stamford Bridge in the Champions League against Roma on Wednesday night, and fans took out their anger on Cesar Azpilicueta.
Chelsea were 2-0 up but ended up looking like they might lose the game as Edin Dzeko scored his second to put the Italian side 3-2 up.
Eden Hazard popped up to save the day with his second to make the final score 3-3, but – the Belgian attacker aside – it wasn’t a pretty performance from Antonio Conte’s men.
And Chelsea fans saved most of their criticism for the defence, with Gary Cahill and Cesar Azpilicueta both looking exposed at the back.
The normally reliable Azpilicueta has been on a dip of form recently and fans were not happy with the 28-year-old.

Chelsea’s next game is at home against Watford in the Premier League on Saturday before Everton visit Stamford Bridge on Wednesday in the League Cup.
