Tottenham fans were blown away by the performance of Davinson Sanchez after he earned his first start for the club in the routine 3-0 win against Everton on Saturday.
The 21-year-old become the North London club’s record purchase last month when he completed a £40million move from Eredivise giants Ajax.
Saturday’s trip to Everton was the Colombian enforcer’s real chance to show Tottenham fans what he is all about after he was picked by Mauricio Pochettino to feature in the straightforward win at Goodison Park.
Sanchez made his Spurs debut before the international break with a one-minue appearance off the bench in the 1-1 draw with Burnley at Wembley.
Harry Kane bagged two goals either side of Christian Eriksen’s strike, but it was the summer signing Sanchez that received all the attention from the fans on Twitter.
One supporter said that Sanchez was “pure class” on Saturday.

Sanchez cost Spurs a lot of money in August but he already has shown signs that he could be worth the hefty price-tag after a sterling display against an Everton attack that has also been invested heavily on in recent months.
However Ronald Koeman’s side had no answer for Sanchez and his new defensive team-mates of Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld.
