Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha was looking for a reaction from his team against Hamilton tonight – and he got it with a convincing victory.

However it didn’t so well after Hamilton took the lead after just one minute through Daniel Redmond.

Rangers bounced straight back though, first with a quick-fire brace from Declan John in the 21st and 25th minutes, which was followed by a strike from Daniel Candeias.

Graham Dorrans added a fourth from the penalty spot in the 59th minute to wrap up a 4-1 win, despite Ryan Jack being sent off for Rangers.

It was a happy ending for Caixinha who some pundits claimed could have lost his job if he didn’t win tonight, after defeat in the first Old Firm game of the season last Saturday.

If that was the case, Caixinha has brought himself some more time to see the Rangers mission through, but fans weren’t happy with all the players in blue tonight.

Josh Windass came in for some severe criticism from Rangers fans, with one saying he was the worst player he’s ever seen in a Rangers jersey.

Windass has made six Premiership appearances this season, with just one goal and one assist.

And Rangers fans want more from the youngster.
