Pedro Caixinha got the win and the three points he desperately needed against Hamilton on Friday night, thanks in large part to a quick-fire brace from Declan John.
An early goal from Daniel Redmond for Hamilton had turned the expected script on its head in the first minute and Caixinha must have been fearing the worst.
However, Declan John got the Rangers party started in the 21st minute and added another in the 25th.
His brace was followed up with a strike from Daniel Candeias and a penalty from Graham Dorrans.
The win takes Rangers up to third in the Premiership, five points behind Celtic at the top.
However, the rest of the teams have a game in hand over the weekend.
Declan John joined on loan from Cardiff City over the summer and this was only his second Premiership appearance.
His goals were his first in a Rangers shirt and fans are hoping for more from the 22-year-old after a great display.
