Pedro Caixinha is expected to make three changes to his Rangers squad which faced Partick Thistle on Friday in the Premiership.

The Light Blues are set to head to the Firhill Stadium on Tuesday evening to face the Glaswegian side just days after their 2-2 encounter as they battle in the quarter-final of the Scottish League cup.

Caixinha is expected to replace injured captain Lee Wallace with Cardiff loanee Declan John, who came on for the skipper on Friday after the left-back went down clutching at his thigh.

Another change the Gers boss will potentially make with be giving Carlos Pena his first start of the season by placing him in midfield over Ryan Jack.

Kenny Miller is expected to be left out to have a break from the game, so Eduardo Herrera is the most likely player to replace him in the Gers XI on Tuesday.

It’s likely that the rest of the team will remain untouched with fan favourite, Wes Foderingham, remaining in goal with Bruno Alves and Fabio Cardoso in front of him.

To complete the backline, James Tavernier should stay at right-back as he has featured in every game of the season so far across all competitions.

In midfield, Graham Dorrans is expected to partner Pena and feature alongside Josh Windass and Daniel Candieas.

Up front, it’s likely that summer signing and goal scoring star Alfredo Morelos will feature alongside Herrera as he aims to add to his already impressive goal tally.
