Celtic travel to Belgium on Wednesday night for a crucial Champions League group stage match against Anderlecht and the fans will be desperate for a positive result.

The Bhoys are effectively battling Anderlecht for a third-placed finish in the group and a place in the Europa League knockout rounds, with heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich also in their draw.

Brendan Rodgers’ side should go into the game with strong confidence after beating Old Firm rivals Rangers 2-0 at the weekend in the league.

Fan favourite Moussa Dembele is once again set to make do with a place on the bench against Anderlecht as he is eased back into action by the manager.

He made a late cameo in the clash at Ibrox and supporters are desperately for him to return to full fitness.

The 21-year-old striker made a colossal impact at Parkhead last season and scored a remarkable 32 goals in 49 appearances across all competitions.

However, Celtic do have have the likes of Nir Bitton, Callum McGregor and Olivier Ntcham as players that are options to come into the side.

This Is Futbol has selected the expected XI that Rodgers will field for the European clash with Anderlecht, including an in-form attacker that has scored twice in his previous two league games.
