Leeds have stepped up in their move to sign Lugano attacker Ezgjan Alioski in the last 24 hours, according to reliable journalist Phil Hay.
The Yorkshire Evening Post chief football writer has detailed on his personal Twitter account on Saturday morning that the Yorkshire giants are “now fighting hard” to sign the 25-year-old and that a deal is now “very possible.”

He then responded to a fan asking about the sudden confidence in the signing happening, stating that Leeds are now pushing forward to sign the right-winger after bringing in Vurnon Anita earlier in the week.
First time I've seen you confident of this one phil. Why the sudden change to believe it's possible?

Alioski is current playing in the Swiss top-flight with Lugano and last season he boasted a very fine record in front of goal with a fine 16 goals and 14 assists from 34 league matches with the majority of his appearances coming on the right-wing.
He did also play as a centre-forward, left-winger and left-back at times over the last campaign and he will certainly add a lot of versatility to the English second tier club.
Leeds themselves have already been busy so far this summer as they look to mount a promotion challenge, bringing in each of Hadi Sacko, Mateusz Klich, Felix Wiedwald and Anita and the Macedonian goal machine could be the next to follow through the famous Elland Road doors.
