Known for his explosive pace on the left side of defence, 27-year-old Traore was a key part of the Basel side that blew away the rest of the Swiss Super League by finishing at the top of the pile 17 points clear.
The nine-time Ivory Coast international helped his side keep nine clean sheets in 32 encounters as well as scoring once and laying on another two assists from left-back.
With only 12 months remaining on his contract, the former Gold Coast United and Melbourne Victory star would prove a much better investment if brought to Elland Road in the form of a cut-price deal this summer.
