Leeds should look to use the Swiss Super League as a scouting pool for new talent and bring one of three left-backs that have thrived in the top tier to replace Charlie Taylor this summer.

Thomas Christiansen is likely to be in the market for a new left-back after academy product Taylor’s contract expired on Friday, despite the Yorkshire giants’ attempts at trying to renew it.

Radio Yorkshire presenter Joe Rawson revealed on his personal Twitter account that Leeds are already targeting the Swiss Super League in an attempt to sign winger Ezgjan Alioski from FC Lugano.

Leeds have completed three signings this summer in goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald from Werder Bremen, a permanent deal for speed machine Hadi Sacko and the purchase of 10-time Poland international Mateusz Klich.

Now, This Is Futbol believes the Yorkshire giants should continue looking to recruit from Switzerland and sign one of these three left-backs who hold all the attributes necessary to replace outgoing Taylor.

Here are the trio who could make a second summer signing from the league, including a 54-time international who is now available on a free transfer:
