Set to lose three goalkeepers
Villa desperately need a new goalkeeper. Sam Johnstone has returned to Old Trafford this summer, after starring on loan with the Midlands giants this summer without a striking a permanent deal, as of yet.
Reserve goalkeeper Mark Bunn saw his contract expire on Friday, and is now set to leave the former Premier League club this summer while Pierluigi Gollini spent the second half of the season on loan at Atalanta.
Losing all three would see Villa left with just reserve stopper Jed Steer and a new senior goalkeeper is needed, with Ward likely to be on the lookout for a new club as Simon Mingolet and Loris Karius remain first choice at Liverpool.
