Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to congratulate Kieran Trippier on his new contract.

The 26-year-old right-back has put pen-to-paper on a new five-year deal which ties him to Spurs until the summer of 2022.

Trippier was one of Spurs’ most consistent performers towards the back end of last season, and he made 22 appearances across all competitions, which yielded seven assists.

He arrived in north London in the summer of 2015 in a switch from Burnley, and he has since played 41 league and cup games for the club.
