Mauricio Pochettino would get the best out of Harry Kane by giving him competition in the form of Benfica forward Raul Jimenez this summer.

Speaking to ESPN, as quoted by Sky Sports’ Transfer Centre (Tuesday, 9.03am), Jimenez revealed that he could be keen on a move to the Premier League after excelling for Portuguese champions Benfica last season.

“The Premier League is a great championship, but you have to wait. I don’t close any doors and we’ll see what happens,” Jimenez said. “I’m still at Benfica.”

Portuguese outlet A Bola claimed earlier this month that both Liverpool and West Ham are interested in the 26-year-old striker, who is Benfica’s record signing at £19.1million.

Jimenez, who represented Mexico at the Confederations Cup earlier this summer, is known for his power that allows him to beat defenders in the air while having the technical nous to beat a man with pace.
