Curtis Good is reportedly on his way out of Newcastle and set to join Kevin Nolan’s Notts County this summer, and his example should be followed by three other Toon academy products.

The Evening Chronicle claim 24-year-old Good has just one year remaining on his contract with Newcastle but is now set to be offloaded by Rafa Benitez following the Magpies’ promotion to the Premier League.

Good has managed just two senior appearances for the Toon, and is unlikely to break into the first team next year after the Toon signed centre-back Florian Lejeune from La Liga outfit Eibar.

The Australia international was already way down the pecking order behind the likes of captain Jamaal Lascelles, Chancel Mbemba, Grant Hanley and Ciaran Clark.

This Is FutbolĀ identifies three players that should follow Good out of the exit door at St. James’ Park this summer in order to maximise their potential by being guaranteed regular first-team football elsewhere.
