Rangers should battle Kilmarnock in order to re-sign Kirk Broadfoot this summer as Pedro Caixinha continues his summer transfer revolution at Ibrox.

Sky Sports news’ Transfer Centre claimed (Tuesday, 11.06am) that Kilmarnock are looking to sign the the 32-year-old defender, who is currently with League One side Rotherham.

It is said that Lee McCulloch’s side are currently in talks with the defender, who could be tempted to leave the New York Stadium following Rotherham’s relegation from the Championship.

Rangers have already completed eight new signings this summer in Bruno Alves, Fabio Cardoso, Ryan Jack, Carlos Pena, Dalcio, Daniel Candeias, Eduardo Herrera and Alfredo Morelos and are expected to add to that influx.

This Is FutbolĀ analyses three reasons why the 54-time Scottish champions should make a late move to bring the experienced defender back to Ibrox this summer in order to boost their chances of catching Old Firm rivals Celtic.
