Manchester City ace Nolito has arrived in Spain ahead of completing an £8million move to Sevilla, according to the Daily Mail.
The newspaper pictured the 30-year-old attacker being greeted by Sevilla fans at a Spanish airport on Sunday morning, before he travelled to Sevilla’s training ground to complete a medical and pen a three-year contract.
It is said Celta Vigo and Real Betis both tabled loan offers for Nolito, but City were keen to offload the unsettled Spaniard on a permanent basis.
Nolito only joined the Citizens last summer in a £15.3million move from Celta, but he struggled in his season-long spell in Manchester.
He scored just six goals in his tenure at City, despite the fact he made 30 appearances across all competitions last term.
The 30-year-old is expected to become the number one striker at Sevilla, after Vitolo’s departure to Ateltico Madrid earlier this summer.
The Spaniard was used primarily was a left-sided attacker by City manager Pep Guardiola in the 2016-17 campaign, but he was also utilised on the right-flank and as a central striker at times.
Nolito has been capped by Spain on 16 occasions, but he has not featured since the 2-2 friendly draw with England in November of last year.
