Thomas Christiansen would bring the wow factor back to Elland Road by luring Premier League veteran Ashley Cole to Leeds this summer.
The 36-year-old is currently playing his trade in Major League Soccer with American outfit LA Galaxy, after leaving England back in 2014 to join Serie A outfit Roma before moving to Los Angeles in 2016.
Three-time Premier League champion Cole could now be on the lookout for a new club after making 40 appearances with Curt Onalfo’s side, as he looks to make the most of his remaining years in professional football.
Christiansen has already brought three new players to Elland Road since taking over in Madger Gomes, Mateusz Klich and Felix Wiedwald, while Hadi Sacko has also signed a permanent deal with the Whites.
