Leeds must rival Birmingham for Lennon

|

Elland Road favourite

Lennon is still held in high regard on the terraces at Elland Road, after the Chapeltown-born winger left Leeds to join Tottenham a year after the Whites were relegated to the Championship.

The academy product was one of a number of players sold due to the club’s financial collapse, which also saw the likes of Alan Smith, Harry Kewell and Paul Robinson all offloaded.

Making 39 appearances as a teenager for Leeds, Lennon would be welcomed back with open arms if he were to rejoin Leeds in their pursuit of Premier League football.
