Leeds fans have once again expressed their disappointment over the inclusion of Giuseppe Bellusci in the pre-season friendly clash against Guiseley on Saturday.
The official Yorkshire giants’ Twitter account confirmed that the 27-year-old central defender would be part of the first half XI at Nethermoor Park in a defence alongside Luke Ayling, Pontus Jansson and Tyler Denton.

The Italian defender is not a popular figure among the Leeds fan base after joining the club on an initial loan in the summer of 2014.
He has since been involved in several high profile mistakes and spent the last campaign on loan in Serie A with Empoli, who were subsequently relegated.
The experienced played has since reportedly told Leeds that he wants to move back to Italy this summer, but manager Thomas Christiansen has given him match time in the club’s first two pre-season fixtures.
This has caused a largely negative response from the Leeds fan base on social media and many are keen to see him away from the squad as soon as possible, while others went to owner Andrea Radrizzani, who is also active on Twitter to urge him to sell.

I had hoped I'd never see Bellusci in a Leeds shirt again. He shouldn't be anywhere near our club yet alone squad. #TTGB @andrearadri https://t.co/kQQWuoVHvb

When Bellusci came on at half time against Harrogate on Wednesday Leeds were 2-0 up before finishing the game 4-2, the defender will be hoping for a much better afternoon alongside keeping a clean sheet against Guiseley.
