Calum Chambers
Versatile defender Chambers spend the 2016-17 campaign on loan with relegate Middlesbrough, proving to be a rare shining light in a side that defended well but struggled to find the back of the net.
Forming a strong partnership with captain Ben Gibson at centre-back, Chambers managed to help Boro keep eight clean sheets in 27 league and cup encounters before starring at the Under-21 European Championships in Poland this summer as England reached the semi-finals.
Now likely to be far down the pecking order at Arsenal behind the likes of Gabriel, Laurent Koscielny and Shkodran Mustafi, 22-year-old Chambers should jump ship with Everton a good fit for the defender’s style of play.
