Everton fans are divided on Twitter on whether signing Arsenal ace Theo Walcott would be a good piece of business or not.
The Toffees supporters’ messages came after the Mirror reported that their club were lining up a £30million summer swoop for the 28-year-old forward.
It is said Everton manager Ronald Koeman is keen on bringing in a winger this summer, after it has emerged that Yannick Bolasie will miss the start of next season through injury.
Walcott was in and out of the Gunners side last season, and is one of the Dutch boss’ targets, as well as Leicester City’s Demarai Gray.
The 28-year-old had a fine season in front of goal last term, scoring 19 goals in 37 appearances across all competitions.
He arrived in north London from Southampton in January 2006 in a move worth £8million, and he has since played 383 league and cup games for the club, which have yielded 104 goals and 73 assists.
The Goodison Park faithful were split on whether signing Walcott would be a wise move or not, some believing him to be a good option, while others just said “no”.

Koeman has already brought several new faces to Merseyside this summer, in the shapes of Jordan Pickford, Davy Klaassen, Wayne Rooney and Sandro Ramirez – all of which are expected to be a part of his first team plans next term.
