Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has completed a move to Swansea City, it has been announced.

The 19-year-old has joined the Premier League side on a season long loan deal and he becomes Swansea’s second summer signing after goalkeeper Erwin Mulder.

The Welsh club confirmed his arrival on their official website and also on their official Twitter account on Tuesday afternoon.

Shortly after the announcement was made, the Premier League champions posted on the official Twitter account that Abraham had put pen to paper on a brand new five-year contract at Stamford Bridge.

Abraham will be hoping to become a regular starter for Swansea in the upcoming campaign as he has failed to stake a claim in the Chelsea first-team throughout his playing career at Stamford Bridge.

The teenager was sent out on loan to Championship side Bristol City last season and he proved to be one of the best players in the division.

The striker contributed with 26 goals and four assists in all competitions last season.

The youngster was also part of the England Under-21 national team who reached the semi-finals of the European Championship this summer.

Abraham enjoyed an impressive tournament, featuring in every single match and scoring one and providing one assist.

Swansea boss Paul Clement will be hopeful that the teenager can continue his fine form with the Welsh side next season.
