OPINION

Thomas Christiansen is reportedly set to offload Leeds right-back Lewie Coyle to Fleetwood ahead of the 2017-18 season, but he is not the only Yorkshire giants ace who must leave on loan this summer.

West Yorkshire Sport revealed on their official Twitter account on Tuesday morning that they understand the 21-year-old right-back is set join a club pushing for promotion to the Championship.

He will rejoin former Whites manager Uwe Rosler, who pushed the Trawlermen to within an inch of the second tier of English football last season before they lost in the play-offs.

Coyle was likely to be third choice at Elland Road this season, behind Gaetano Berardi and Luke Ayling but he is not the only fringe player who must leave on loan to show Christiansen what they are capable of.
