Leeds United sensation Ronaldo Vieira is the subject of growing interest from “big” Premier League clubs, according to the Mirror.
The newspaper’s transfer blog on Saturday (10.50pm) claimed that top-flight giants have made approaches to the Championship outfit following the midfield enforcer’s remarkable debut season.
The Mirror report that there has been a “number of enquiries from Premier League clubs” about Vieira and that his value is already set at £10million by United.
It is said that Leeds have no intention of cashing in on the central midfielder and tied him down to a new four-year contract in May.
Vieira, 18, has emerged as one of Leeds’ prize assets after leapfrogging proven Championship midfielders to nail down a regular spot in the team managed by Garry Monk in 2016-17.
The famously-named youngster made 38 appearances in all competitions, which included 24 starts from his 34 league matches, for Leeds as they mounted a strong promotion challenge before eventually finishing in seventh position.
Vieira was then a member of the England squad which won the Under-20s World Cup earlier this month.
