OPINION

Thomas Christiansen must look towards Leeds’ rising stars as the Yorkshire giants hunt for Premier League promotion next season.

The Whites youth system is renowned as one of the best in the country with plenty of Premier League stars having come through the youth academy at Thorp Arch.

Liverpool’s James Milner, Tottenham’s Danny Rose and Man City’s Fabian Delph all started their professional careers at Leeds before moving on to pastures new.

Currently in the Leeds side are Ronaldo Vieira, Kalvin Phillips, Lewie Coyle and Charlie Taylor, all players that have progressed from youth team to first team, although Taylor is expected to leave in the near future.

This Is FutbolĀ considers three of Christiansen’s current youth squad that have what it takes to be inducted into the first team next season after impressing with Leeds’ second string and youth sides.

Here are those three players, including an Irish star that has already made 39 professional appearances:
