Three reasons why Rangers should sign Celtic attacker Ciftci

|

Cut-price deal

With Rodgers looking to offload the former Turkey Under-19 international, a fee is still required to sign the attacker despite his dismal two-year spell at Lennoxtown.

Signed for £1.5million from Dundee United, Ciftci is expected to leave for a much cheaper price than that and that could suit the Gers as Caixinha presses on with his transfer revolution at Ibrox.

The Portuguese boss is likely to have used up the majority of his transfer budget this summer after bringing eight new players to Glasgow, and a bargain deal for Ciftci could be the order of the day.
