Manchester United are keeping tabs on Paris Saint-Germain defender Serge Aurier, according to France Football.

The newspaper claims that the 24-year-old wants to leave the French club this summer and it is understood that the Manchester giants could potentially make a move for the full-back in the upcoming weeks.

The report claims that the Ivorian declined to sign an extension on his contract but his representatives are planning to discuss a new deal with the club’s new sporting director Antero Henrique in the next 48 hours.

United face competition in landing the defender as it is understood that Serie A champions Juventus have already placed an offer on the table with fellow Italian side Inter Milan also monitoring the situation.

Aurier has become an important member of the PSG squad since he signed for the club on a permanent deal two years ago.

During the 2015-16 campaign, the full-back was in fine form as he contributed with four goals and three assists in all competitions, helping the club secure four domestic trophies that season.

The Ivorian struggled to produce consistent performances last season but he still managed to provide four assists in the league.

The defender has also become a regular in the Ivory Coast national team, making 39 international appearances since his debut four years ago.

Aurier’s contract with the Ligue 1 side runs out in 2019.
