Pedro Caixinha should risk the wrath of Rangers fans by looking to lure Celtic attacker Nadir Ciftci to Ibrox this summer as he looks set to leave the Hoops.

The Daily Record revealed on their transfer news blog (10.09 am, 27 June) that the 25-year-old had been left out of Celtic’s pre-season training camp in Austria by Brendan Rodgers, and is now training with the Hoops’ Under-20 side.

The Turkish attacker has plummeted down the pecking order with the treble-winning side following the arrival of Scott Sinclair last summer and Jonny Hayes from Aberdeen earlier this month.

He is now expected to leave this summer after going on loan last season to Turkish side Eskisehirspor before moving to Poland with Pogon Szczecin this time around.

This Is Futbol considers three reasons why Ciftci should anger Celtic fans by moving to Caixinha’s side in the summer, as he looks to get his career back on track following his nightmare stay at Celtic.
