Three reasons why Celtic should sign former-Rangers attacker McCormack

|

Boost Scotland chances

A 13-time international with Scotland, McCormack has failed to feature for his country since May 2016 and has plunged down the pecking order in Gordon Strachan’s thinking.

To reignite his Scotland career, the former Cardiff ace must return to the Scottish Premiership in an attempt to give himself the best chance of impressing Strachan ahead of the 2018 World Cup.

A move to Celtic would see McCormack showcase his attacking talents, benefiting the Hoops as he looks to play at the best of his ability to stake a late claim for Strachan’s 23-man squad if Scotland qualify for the competition next summer.
