OPINION

Pedro Caixinha should keep a close eye on three of Mexico’s Confederations Cup stars after completing the double signing of Mexicans Carlos Pena and Eduardo Herrera.

Rangers announced the signings of Pena and Herrera on their official website on Thursday evening, with the players set for a second spell under Caixinha following their at Santos Laguna.

It takes Caixinha’s influx of new players to a total of eight.

They join Bruno Alves, Fabio Cardoso, Ryan Jack, Daniel Candeias, Dalcio and Alfredo Morelos in joining the 54-time Scottish champions, as Caixinha continues to mould a new Rangers squad.

After a disappointing return to the Scottish Premiership last season, Caixinha has completely changed the Rangers line-up and fans will be eager to see how they gel together.

However, This Is FutbolĀ believes Caixinha must not stop there and should help Pena and Herrera settle in by eyeing a move for three of their fellow countryman who are currently representing Mexico at the Confederations Cup.
