The Scottish midfielder was a mainstay for the Dons’ in the 2016/17 campaign, making 39 appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals.
He had been at the Pittodrie club his whole career, making his debut in 2010, and going on to play 250 league and cup games for the club.
Jack was capped by all of Scotland’s age group sides, from the Under-16s to the Under-21s, who he made 19 appearances for.
The Ibrox faithful were pleased to see the signing of Jack confirmed after weeks of rumours, and some even speculated who their next signing would be.

The Scottish midfielder becomes manager Pedro Caixinha’s second signing of the summer after the club announced the arrival of Bruno Alves on Wednesday afternoon.
Caixinha is looking to strengthen all areas of his squad this summer after a disappointing campaign which saw his side finish third in the Scottish Premiership, nine points behind Aberdeen and 39 points behind unbeaten champions Celtic.
